Environmental Protection Industries is a full service consulting, engineering, remediation and construction company. We have cooperative agreements with other full service national and international companies that provide us with over 500 professionals with experience in a multitude of engineering, scientific and technical disciplines. Our ability to provide clients with full project delivery capabilities, from conceptual / feasibility studies through full design, construction management and commissioning has enabled us to successfully grow.
EPI was established in 1988 and is a licensed professional engineering and design firm. At its inception, EPI worked primarily in establishing underground storage tank tightness and related testing services. At the onset, EPI’s executives determined that a broader scope of services was required. EPI was quick to respond and made the business, management decisions and changes necessary to expand into a full service consulting, engineering, remediation and construction company, thereby, securing a place in the consulting / construction field for the future. EPI has implemented stringent performance standards in order to be more competitive and provide a high quality product.
EPI is continually implementing changes to be more competitive and provide the highest quality products and services. We feel that this approach, a documented and certified Quality Management System (QMS), will benefit our clients as well as EPI. The EPI ISO QMS Quality Policies and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Management Responsibility, Contract Review, Document and Data Control, Design, Inspection, Control of Nonconforming Product, Corrective Action, Internal Quality Audits and Training.
EPI’s Project Management System often results in work completed ahead of schedule. EPI’s management team has regular weekly meetings to review project status, employee and contractor performance and policy issues. This management approach provides clarity of authority, responsibility and accountability for each project. EPI operates as a team, and the corporate structure allows for close contact between project managers, upper management and the client.
