Please email any questions or inquiries related to construction activities to firstname.lastname@example.org
*** UPDATE – December 7, 2021 - The Village has informed us that we will be cleared to fence off the property any day now. This is to include Euclid Ave between Madison St and the east west alley directly to the north. The alley will still be accessible from Euclid Ave. Please be advised that this section of Euclid Ave will be closed indefinitely. Road closure signs will be placed in accordance with Village of Oak park requirements and will remain until construction is complete. COMED and its contractors have informed us that they expect to begin the installation of a new manhole within the next two weeks. The manhole will be in Village of Oak Park right-of-way and will be partially located in the shared driveway between 427 and 431 Euclid Ave. At the request of Village officials, COMED and its contractors have informed us that they will maintain one access lane to the driveway and provide temporary driveway access if necessary. The manhole install is projected to take 6 weeks during the Village of Oak Park working hours. This work should not affect parking for the residents of these two addresses. A more precise start date will be provided once it becomes available to us. COMED informed us that underground work on Washington Blvd will be completed early this week. Once this work is completed, all usual Village Permitted parking will return to normal. The underground COMED work taking place on Euclid Ave, from Randolph St to Washington Blvd is proceeding as scheduled. Work should be completed by Wednesday December 22, 2021. Once this work is completed, all usual Village Permitted parking will return to normal. Thank you for your continued cooperation during this construction process. Should you have any questions please email the EPI team at email@example.com.
*** UPDATE – November 30, 2021 Comed has informed us that they will start their underground work on Euclid Ave, from Randolph St. to Washington Blvd, earlier than expected. This work will begin Wednesday December 1st and is projected to take 3 weeks. No parking signs will be posted in the work area 24 hours prior to the commencement of the work and will be removed as they progress south from Randolph St. to Washington Blvd. Additionally, temporary parking passes, provided by the Village, were mailed to those affected. Comed has started their underground work on the south side of Washington Blvd from Euclid Ave to the alley directly to the east. As a reminder, this work is projected to take two weeks and is expected to impact parking. It appears the overhead utility work will be delayed. Updates will be provided as soon as they are available. If your parking is impacted and you have not received your parking passes in the mail or require additional passes, please contact the village at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 708-358-PARK (7275). The Village has notified us that Nicor’s relocation plan has been approved. More details will be provided once available. Thank you for your patience!
