Salem Baptist Church

Salem Baptist Church acquired, pursuant to a Potential Purchaser Agreement (PPA), a 25 acre Federal CERCLIS property on the Southeast side of Chicago. EPI submitted a Remedial Design Plan, Quality Assurance Project Plan and a Health and Safety Plan to the USEPA.  EPI has conducted preliminary investigative activities, including a magnetic survey, installing a security fence around the perimeter of the site, tank removal activities, removal and disposal of asbestos laden soils, and provided oversight and air monitoring during tree removal activities and established background levels.
