Conoco Phillips Midwest Retail Petroleum Portfolio
Managed portfolio of retail petroleum sites in the Midwest region for ConocoPhillips. Duties included project coordination and planning, developing site-specific budgets and determining site closure strategies. Responsibilities include supervising environmental consultants, reviewing reports and work plans/budgets prior to submittal to the state regulators and ensuring that the sites are in compliance with the appropriate state regulators.

Brownfield - Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Planned, supervised, and conducted Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for properties covering several city blocks as part of an industrial park acquisition program by the City of Chicago. The site is located in a mixed industrial, commercial, and residential area with a variety of previous uses and environmental conditions, such as underground storage tanks (USTs), junkyards, and illegal dumping. Coordinated the field activities with the subcontractors, supervised the advancement of the soil borings at the site, collected soil samples, screened samples during field activities and provided geological description of the soil samples. The results of the assessments were summarized in reports to the City of Chicago and regulatory agencies. The reports also included detailed descriptions of the site’s regulatory status, potential exposure routes, risk assessment, recommendations for additional investigations, clean-up strategy, and remediation cost estimates. Ultimately, the properties were entered in the IEPA Site Remediation Program to obtain No Further Remediation (NFR) Letter for the redevelopment city blocks.
